Youth Programme

Youth is a time of tremendous energy and growth.

We should look at the countless possibilities and not the problems as defining factors.

Youth therapy + Parenting Support

The youth now are marginally different.

They are exposed to the wonders and dangers of technology.

However, some problems faced by the youth remain unchanged despite generational differences.

In Resurgo, we believe in early remedial and preventive interventions.

We cannot change the past hurt that a youth may have experienced but we can do so much to prevent that from defining their adulthood.

We tailor highly effective and individualised programme for youth and their parents.

We believe that both the youth and the parents need support to maintain a safe and thriving environment in order for change to be sustained beyond the realms of therapy.

Youth and Parent Programme

  • Survivors of abuse (child abuse, witnessing family conflicts)
  • Experiencing bullying
  • Difficulty in forming relationship with peers
  • LGBTQ issues
  • Parenting challenges
  • Caregiver stress

If what you are experiencing does not fall under the above or if you are unsure on how we can help, sign up for our trial session to explore further.

What can you expect when you attend the Youth/Parent Programme?

Safe Environment

Being in their formative age, youth are discerning on who to trust.

In Resurgo, we provide a safe environment where the youth is not judged.

Except for situation where safety is compromised or there are legal issues, what is shared in the session is kept confidential.

The youth can feel assured that they are listened to and supported without the fear that what is shared in the sessions are reported to their parents.

Results Oriented

We utilise trauma systems therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TFCBT), family systems therapy and narrative therapy as some modalities in the programme.

Each youth will be assessed using the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment tool after the trial session.

The programme will then be crafted utilising the findings.
